What is the big deal of turning a month older when the attitude never changes?
The moment you ended the call, I asked you who was the caller and you pretended not to hear anything when you were only a feet away. You answered only after the second time. Doesn’t that arouse my suspicion? And the answer you gave was: “My boss”, with a voice that I can barely hear. When I questioned you again to assure myself that it was your boss, this time round, you said,” My kawan kerja, namer Ayuni (or whatever name it is but I’m pretty sure I heard a girl’s name). You said this with that “Oh-shit-she-knows-it” voice.

What’s all this supposed to mean? You had to come up with an excuse because you felt a guilty conscience deep down? The reason you gave me: “ I taknak bilang yang kawan I call cos I taknak you marah.” Okay, for once I have to say, that’s just lame excuses and full of shit! Why do I have to be angry when your colleague called? It doesn’t make sense at all. Maybe there was something important going on in the office but what you did was just a total disappointment. Instead of telling me the truth, all you gave was excuses. And, just to remind you, this is not the first time.
I don’t know what is running through your mind but if you are hiding something from me, don’t be too sure that it will stay in the dark forever.

Anyway, thanks for knocking off early to fetch me.
