Left home as early as 9am,accompanied by ibu and ifah and off to CCK Polyclinic. Ifah was down with fever,cough and flu whereas I was down with sore throat and cough. Number's called and tadaaaaa,I was referred to the hospital since I was one of the people who's at high risk of being infected with H1N1. I told the doctor I was from RP and she said "...Furthermore,you are from one of the breeding ground of H1N1,I will recommend you to go to the hospital for further tests." Whoa ! I was merely laughing when she mentioned that.

Collected the referral letter,paid the consultation fees and went home first since ibu wanted to bring along more money just in case it wasn't enough for the hospital's tests. Reached SGH's A& E ,registered and waited for my number. Waited 45 minutes just to be called in to see the doctor. Like OMG la. Sidetrack abit. I think people who work as paramedics are macho men. hehe.

Back to the story. The YOUNG CHINESE MALE [:)]doctor fixed a plug on my arm since he said there's a need to do some blood tests,followed by a chest x-ray and a swab(spelling?) test to detect for the H1N1 virus. The worst part was that the blood test result will only be out in 2 hours. Fortunately,ibu and ifah were around. If not,I think I'll die of boredom. Oh ! and thanks to the boyfriend too who continuosly sms me to ask about my condition:) Btw, did you know the swab test makes me tear and cough? Now,my nose is in pain:(

While waiting,the three of us had lunch and roamed around the hospital like some lost souls.haha. You know,when boredom strikes,anything is possible. 2 hours and the results were out. The blood test result was good so it meant,home sweet home. Paid the bills,collected the medication and after removing the plug,as usual,my arm's bruised. I think,if I'm not wrong,they will call me for the swab test result.

Now,I'm given a 4 days outpatient sick leave which means I have to skip Mocrobiology UT2 on monday. But then again, I shall see what's my final decision. To go to school or hit the bed becaue I cannot afford to miss any UT.

Off to eat the medicines and study Microbiology ; problem 7-11.
